Ter Tempo Para Despertar (Having Time To Awake)

Sugestão musical para esta leitura / Musical suggestion for this reading: Angels Of Peace (Frantz Amathy – Angels Of Peace)

Having Time To Awake (Ter Tempo Para Despertar)

We all think we never have time for anything. We are always busy and concerned with the time that we don't have to do the things that we thought that we need to do. We spend almost a lifetime saying that we don’t have time for anything, saying that time flies, saying we are mesmerized with the speed at which time passes. Even so we don't find time to dedicate time to that that we need the most. We will soon return to this subject.
In other words, we complain about the passing of time, of the linear time, that, as it stands, it’s really not like this, and for the most scientific among you remember that Albert Einstein has already proved that many years ago. Isn’t it time that we look at the time, that we dispose of it in another way?
There is never time for anything, especially for anything of what is indispensable for what we really are, but we have time for other things. We have time, for instance, for us to stretch out in the sofa at home watching television and, in the overwhelming majority of times, to see and hear something that just makes us loose more time, not making us remember anything about what we really are or who we really are. We live our lives without time for anything and much of that has to do with the time that we dispense to our work so that we can HAVE. Have a car, or one more car, a mobile phone or the new mobile phone, a house or one more house and more and more. I am not judging or saying that it is right or wrong, just, as someone said, I limit myself to observe. As I observe that if many of us wasted less time in these things and we were satisfied with a little bit less, many of us could have much more than what they have now, namely time. Because a great majority, doesn't have time for anything else except to try to survive. If we can do it, if we want to do it, we will discover time to dedicate to that that we need the most, and here are we returning to this subject, as I, a little while promised. We have to have time for ourselves, for us to look at ourselves, to look inside, to awake, for us to remember who we really are and start from there. Let us give us the time, let us find the necessary time inside of the time that we say that we don't usually have, let us, that way, give time also to others, so that they can have time to remember, them as well, who they really are.

Um fim… Que fim?! (An Ending… What Ending?!)

Sugestão musical para esta leitura / Musical suggestion for this reading: An Ending (Ascent) (Brian Eno – Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks)

A “conclusão”. A “morte”.

An Ending… What Ending?! (Um fim… Que fim?! )

This week I was confronted with one more ending. It was a liberator ending, as always. An ending that opened to me such a big portal of understanding that allowed me to start to see the things from a different perspective and much, much lighter. If we search deep inside of us and really feel, there should not be any week where that doesn't happen, at least once, confronting ourselves with at least one ending. And the word ending, what does it mean for us? Probably the things that we were programmed to mean since we were little. The dictionaries say that ending means things as: term, conclusion, death, result, purpose, objective and many others, all similar or even equal. With all these meanings we are lead to believe that when an end happens the evolution stops, we stop, nothing else happens. Is it really like this? Is it?
What I feel is that the ending is always a beginning. There is no ending without, at the same time, a beginning. Nothing, nor nobody, finishes without something beginning. Let us see if it isn’t so. We can pick some of the definitions for ending to feel that this is so. Let us begin with the word "term." We can imagine something simple as the arrival to the term of a project where we were involved. With the arrival of the term something will begin, it can be, for instance, the sale or the offer of the product that we were developing during the implementation of this project. The "conclusion." Let us imagine the conclusion of the writing of a book, something that means a lot to me personally. The book was concluded, now it will begin the phase where everybody can read it, regardless of it being published by a publisher or not. The "result." A lot of people work with the objective of obtaining results of their work. Of course that it depends on the work, but many times, and increasingly more, the result of that work will spring a better and healthier life to many other people. And we could continue on and on. I will touch only in one more of these meanings. The one that can be the heaviest for many of us, for me it’s been a long time that this is not the case. "Death." Death for many of us seems not to have really anything to do with beginnings. But it has. Death is always a beginning. A beginning in another spot, in another place, in another form, in another way. Or even in the same place and in a form and in a similar way. You choose! We chose. We have that purpose. Death is always a beginning because we exist and period. We never stop existing. Death doesn't finish anything, transforms. We exist, existed and we will continue to exist before, during and after death.
For all of this and much more, whenever you are confronted with an ending, be it whatever type it is, celebrate it, give thanks, cry if that is what you need, but transform those sacred tears in small blessings of the beginning, because we should not forget that nothing has finished but on the contrary something has just begun.
